Off the water

Port Sanilac lighthouse and fall in the air.

Passing under this bridge marks the end of Lake Huron.

Port Huron on the St Clair River - it was great to see people & boats on the water.

We left Port Huron on a clear morning but about an hour into our trip down the St Clair fog rolled in and within a few minutes visibility went to nearly zero. We tied up along a commercial pier and about one hour later were on our way again.

The "Nautical Mile" just north of Detroit is solid marinas with slips for at least 3,500 boats! We had a good time trying out restaurants that weren't closed for the season.
Miss Minn will spend the winter ashore and Reed & I will do some road tripping....stay tuned..........
